Outdoor School collects personal information e.g. Medical, Consent, and Horse riding Permission forms, for the purpose of providing the best possible care for your child. We respect the rights of students, staff and parents to privacy of this information.
All Outdoor School staff and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) are required by law to protect this information provided by you.
Health information is asked for such that Outdoor School staff can better care for your child. This information includes any medical condition or disability your child may have; medication your child may require whilst at camp; any known allergies and contact details of your child’s doctor. Outdoor School depends on you to provide all relevant health information; withholding health information may put your child’s health and safety at risk.
Information concerning parents, guardians or carers, allows us to take account of family arrangements. Family Court Orders outlining any access restrictions and parenting plans should be made available to Outdoor School. Any changes to these arrangements must be communicated to Outdoor School as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Principal if you would like to discuss in confidence, any matters relating to family arrangements.
Emergency Contacts
These are people that Outdoor School may contact in an emergency. Please ensure people named are aware that they have been nominated as emergency contacts and agree to their details being provided to Outdoor School.
